Strong Hoosier, Family Values
As a lifelong resident of Southwestern Indiana, I know and share the values that you and your family hold dear. I believe that we must work to build strong families across the state.

Commitment to Education
The best investment in the future that we can make is in our children and their education. I believe that we must fully fund our school systems and ensure that teachers have all of the tools necessary to prepare our children for the competitive global market.

Increasing Access to Quality Healthcare
Our current system is broken and we must work to develop innovative and resourceful solutions to solve this crisis. We should offer tax incentives to small businesses that provide health insurance for their employees. Groups such as the agricultural industry and small businesses should be allowed to pool their insurance premiums to lower the costs.

Creating Well-Paying Jobs
We can no longer pat ourselves on the back for creating 6 and 7 dollar an hour jobs. We must work to create well-paying jobs that lift people out of poverty, not push them down into it.

Providing Real Property Tax Relief
The recent budget pushed through by the Daniels Administration will lead to a
property tax increase of nearly $1 billion. I will work to provide honest property tax relief and not pass the burden on to local officials forcing them to decide between firing teachers and raising property taxes.

Protecting the 2nd Amendment Right to Bear Arms
As a strong supporter of every Hoosier’s 2nd Amendment right, I will oppose ANY new restrictions on guns and gun ownership. I share the same belief in our god-given right to keep and bear arms that the founders of our great nation had when they wrote the Constitution.
